Penchem designs and manufactures advanced materials especially for the electronic and automotive industries. It is a wholly owned Malaysian company established in 1999. The factory is located in Penang, Malaysia. We are therefore at a strategic location to serve customers in the Far East, Europe and USA.

OPTOELECTRONICS
The LED packaging materials are mainly the epoxies and silicones which have excellent weatherability, high performance at high and low operating temperatures, good UV resistance, high light transmittance with low degradation. It can be used for automotive lighting, in-door and out-door display, back lighting and architectural lighting.
THERMAL INTERFACE MATERIALS
Thermal interface materials (TIM) include thermal pad, thermal tape, thermal grease and potting compound used for filling gaps between the heat source and the heat sink to effectively dissipate the heat TIM is suitable to be used with high power drivers, electronic components, IC, LED lighting and LCD screen.
GENERAL ELECTRONICS
The UV and heat curable epoxy are designed to provide good mechanical properties and stability at diverse operating temperatures and environments which are critical for optical communications and data transmission. It is also widely used in bonding and sealing sensitive parts and components for test and analytical instruments
Silicone Pad & Tape
The silicone thermal pad and tape provide very good thermal conductivity up to 3.6W/mK. It can be die-cut to specific size and dimensions with thickness ranging from 0.3mm up to 5mm. It has an option with non-tacky surface or tacky surface on one or both sides of the pad/tape.
Casting Epoxy
The 2-part casting epoxy is suitable for through hole LED (3/5mm, Oval & Flat-top), Super Flux and Snap LED. It has outstanding performance for outdoor applications such as automobile lighting, signals & indicators and traffic signal lights.
Potting Epoxy
The potting epoxy has low thermo-mechanical stress that makes it suitable for large display module like the S4 (7-segment display) for counters and digital instruments.
Silicone Putty & Grease
The silicone thermal putty and grease can be easily dispense or screen print on most surfaces. It has excellent outdoor performance with good stability and weatherability.
